Youth Community Connections focuses on creating, supporting and implementing comprehensive policy that ensures all children and youth have access to high-quality afterschool, summer and year-round opportunities. Join our collaborative efforts to raise awareness and understanding about the benefits of engaging in quality afterschool programs by supporting the Afterschool Community Learning Opportunities Act.

The Afterschool Community Learning Opportunities Act was designed to better leverage public and private investments in afterschool or summer learning programs. Youth Community Connections is dedicated to seeking funding that maximizes current investments and identifies gaps in resources. The Afterschool Act also calls for studies to better understand the personal contributions families make to ensure learning happens beyond the classroom.
